One of the earliest redevelopment projects in downtown Rahway was the $16 million renovation of the NJ Transit Train Station and plaza. This station, just two blocks from Park Square, provides high-speed, direct access to New York Penn Station in 40 minutes, Trenton in 50 minutes and Newark Penn Station or Newark Airport in 20 minutes. You can check NJ Transit's schedules and travel times here. The Jersey shore can be reached directly from Rahway on New Jersey Transit’s North Jersey Coast Line. Philadelphia and Washington DC are also easily accessible via a connection to Amtrak.

Park Square is convenient to Route 27, Routes 1 & 9, the Garden State Parkway and the New Jersey Turnpike.
